A directional signal, not a private metric.
Launch Radar reads Steam's public upcoming-games search and tag catalogue. Listings, tags, dates, platforms, and prices can change at any time. Approximate dates such as a month, quarter, year, or “Coming soon” are preserved exactly as Steam presents them. Each card shows the complete ranked set of up to 20 tags returned by Steam for that game.
Valve only exposes verified wishlist totals to each game's developer. The estimate shown here uses the game's public Steam follower count: 15× for the midpoint and 7×–20× for a deliberately broad directional range. Those multipliers reflect current industry benchmark research, not a Valve formula or a statistical confidence interval.
Review counts are collected as a secondary public signal, but they do not change this pre-launch estimate. Upcoming games normally have no reviews, and the familiar Boxleiter method converts post-launch reviews into estimated sales—not outstanding wishlists.
